Tourmaline is a therapeutic mineral that has been used for millennia in Eastern medicine and around the world. Tourmaline enhances the flow of chi. The nanometer sized tourmaline particles that are infused into Tourma®Tape are subtle, yet powerful. The tourmaline absorbs body heat and then transmits that energy back into the body in the form of far infrared light. That energy is converted by the tiny nanometer size tourmaline particles in the tape, into the form of far infrared energy. This process is called thermal-photonic conversion. Far infrared saunas have been used historically for their therapeutic value.
The tourmaline in Tourma®Tape also produces negative ions that enhance a more alkaline environment in the body. Alkaline body tissues heal at a more rapid rate. Tourma®Tape can be worn for a minimum of three days. It is also fine to shower, bathe or swim with the tape on. Those activities will not reduce the therapeutic value of the tape. The tape will get wet, since it is designed to “breathe” and not to trap water. When wet, simply pat the taped area with a towel and it will then fully dry on its own.
If you wear Tourma®Tape when exercising, the tape will release sweat. Tourma®Tape is designed to stay in place and to also peel off easily. We recommend to remove the tape in the shower, with soap and water.

A friend told me this tape is wonderful for sacral herpes sores which appear on your lower back. This tape will reduce outbreak duration, promote healing of the area and protect massage therapists, partners etc, from exposure to the sores. I had no idea but I’m ordering some. A couple of years ago, while driving for a tour bus company, I was given a sample pack by a distributor in town for the Furniture Market. I have to be careful what I allow in my body as they do random checks so I was scared to use it because I wasn’t sure what would be entering my bloodstream while using it. I held on to it though. At the start of Covid-19 my job was shut down and still hasn’t picked back up yet almost a year later. I had a total knee replacement almost 4 years ago and by not working and moving as I was before my knee began to get stiff and hurt as I put pressure to walk. The pain grew and I had to start using my cane and walker from my surgery again just to get around without falling. Yesterday I decided to finally try the tape since I’m not driving right now. I noticed a relief the same day and was surprised. I moved my knee in was that would usually cause me pain but I wasn’t feeling the pain like before. This morning I had to research to find this site so I can order my tape for the first time! Thank you for this miracle tape that is changing my life!
