What’s New at FIR?

March was an exciting month for FIR Industries!

March started off In Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.  FIR Industries was one of 35 companies that had a booth at the Combine Trade Show at the Indianapolis Westin Hotel.  We met a good number of NFL Coaches there, who we have been in contact with and will be working with during the upcoming season.  We also attended the NFL Strength Coaches Awards Dinner.  The keynote speaker was Dr. Ron Bell, renowned sports psychologist who presented an excellent address about the “hinge” moments during every Superbowl and how we all have these turning points in our lives too.

During the last week in March it was off to Las Vegas, where we also had a booth at the NFL Strength Coaches’ Injury Resiliency Summit.  There were only 10 booths there.  We interacted with the NFL strength coaches for 3 days, which was fantastic!  We were accompanied by Jim Saar from Apparel Strategic Alliances, who we have partnered with to produce tourmaline infused garments, featuring CoolVisions®, a revolutionary Cotton/polypropylene blend that is like no other fabric in existence today.
